Grand Pa and Grand Ma Wright.

Were born in Overton Texas, in the mid 1860,s.

And migrated to Arkansas in the late 1800,s.

James and Yuridla Wright

Came across Tesas to Arkansas with her family,

by covered wagon pulled by Oxen,s. And settled on some land in Arkansas, known as the ball field.

Near Georgetown and later Home-steaded

some land on Jones Island

three miles from Georgetown.

On this land they built a log cabin around 1885.

And this would be the home and birth place of their six childern. Grand Pa and Grand Ma Wright

would live in the log cabin until Grand Ma Wright death in 1927. Latter in the early 1900,s Grand Pa Wright moved to Georgetown to Live with His daughter Lillie and Her husband Authur Acree.

The cabin remained in excellent condition until a tornado destroyed in 1951.
